The Dan River Combined Concert Band performs at district assessments, presents a spring concert, and goes on one band trip a year. The Concert band gives the students the chance to grow into independent musicians.

Mr. Artis and the band boosters would like to congratulate the Concert Band on receiving a rating of Excellent at the District 6 Concert Band Assessment held at George Washington High School in Danville VA. The band received a rating of 1 in sight-reading and received a rating of 1, 2, & 2 from the judges listening on the stage.
